Lovely Lilac Smoothie Bowl

February has become very ‘love’ saturated in our family. Not just because it so happens to be Valentine’s Day on the 14th!
To set the scene, my husband and I were married on the 5th, my baby brother was just married THIS SATURDAY on the 11th (it was a beautiful wedding!), my littlest niece was born on the 15th and my brother was born on the 17th. So much love floating around in February!
So I present you with this Lovely Lilac Smoothie Bowl, because well, love is nice, as are all things lovely!
Recipe (makes 1 hungry helping or two petite serves)
1 ripe banana (120g)
2/3 cup frozen blueberries, defrosted (80g)
½ an avocado (90g)
2/3 cup runny coconut milk or mylk
1 tsp pure vanilla essence
½ tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
OPTIONAL
1 ½ tsp maca powder (omit for AIP friendly)
Method
Place everything in your blender and blitz until well combined.
Pour into bowls and decorate as you please, I garnished mine with dried white mulberries, freeze dried raspberries, cacao nibs and edible pansies.
