Cookies and Cream Bliss Balls

These bliss balls are kind of magical. I don’t know HOW they taste like cookies and cream…I mean there are no cookies OR cream involved! But if you do indeed whip up these lovely delights you will see what I mean! I’m not talking about a hint of cookies and cream, power of suggestion type thing, these taste like the real deal.
Not only are they delicious but they whip up in the time it takes the kettle to boil. Admittedly I have a ‘ye-olde’ stove top kettle, does that make the swiftness any less impressive?
Oh and if you needed any more convincing they only take 5 ingredients.

Recipe (makes 10)
100g raw cashews
4 fresh dates
1 tsp pure vanilla essence
½ tsp maca powder (optional)
Pinch of salt
Method
Pop the cashews in your food processer and blitz until you have almost made cashew butter. The consistency will be somewhere between cashew meal and cashew butter.
Next pop everything else in your food processor, on top of the processed cashews, and blitz until the mixture is well processed and sticking together easily when pushed between your fingers.
Roll into 10 balls and you’re done!
